Gardeners:
Things are happening in our garden. Have you checked out the agave in bloom, picked strawberries or seen the beginnings of the grapes? It is all worth a wander around the garden.
1. As it heats up, watch your watering.
2. We are starting to see evidence of good and bad bugs. Examine your plants. Picking off the pests is better than spraying. Look for a class about pests in the coming weeks.
3. Tomatoes are heavy feeders. If you haven’t received your free bag of fertilizer, ask a garden leader and they will get you one.
4. It’s time to spiff up your garden plots. Garden Leaders will be picking a “Plot of the Quarter” the week of the 10th. You can win a free month’s rent.
